Aberdeen Village is a continuing care retirement community situated on a spacious 35-acre site.
There are 90 apartments for independent living, 44 assisted suites. A 60-bed health care center, includes 15 beds reserved for those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Environmental Mechanical Contractors, Inc. installed the versatile HVAC system to provide heating and cooling needs throughout the community.
Living areas were equipped with self-contained package heating and cooling units that require minimal interior space for installation and provide independent control for tenants. Tenant space exhaust is carried out of the building through a roof mounted heat recovery unit, which salvages energy and reintroduces it into the ventilation air stream.
Common areas were conditioned with packaged rooftop units. The kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel exhaust hood, make up air system and fire suppression system.
Residents enjoy an indoor swimming pool area that is kept at optimal comfort level with a roof-mounted heating, cooling and dehumidifying unit.
